Should You be “Linked in”?

Do you use Linked in?

I’ve had an account for awhile, and admit that I don’t really use it other than to respond to people inviting me into their network. Oh, I know it can be a great way to make business connections, generate leads, and gather some intelligence, but with so many things competing for my time I just have not really delved into it yet.

One person who has is Paul Castain, a sales VP, mentor, coach, trainer, and blogger. He put together an excellent piece at his blog, Paul Castain’s Sales Playbook.

So here’s the question: How do you use Linked in, and specifically how has it helped you in your sales position?
